The Boat House at Strouds Run State Park

Just minutes from Lake Hill Cabins, The Boathouse is located in Strouds Run State Park, by the beach/boat ramp. Stop by and spend an hour or two on the water!
While you’re there, pick up camping and beach supplies like live bait and firewood, or freshen up with hot and cold drinks plus snacks and ice cream.

Boat and Motor Rentals**
Canoes, Kayaks, Pedal Boat: $10/hour
Double kayaks, stand up paddle board, and hydro bikes: $15/hour
Gas Motor on Jon boat (4 person max): $30 first hour/$20 each add’l hour (includes gas) **Experience required!
**For any boat rental, at least one member of the group must be age 16 or older.
For a motor rental, minimum age is 18 years old.
Pontoon Boat (6 person max): $50/first hour $40 each add’l hour, includes gas
1/2 Day Boat Rental Special—Purchase 4 hours, get your fifth hour FREE! We take reservations, too!

SUMMER: OPEN DAILY 11 a.m till dark (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
OFF-SEASON: Open weekends during Spring and Fall, and warm, sunny weekdays when possible and/or requested!
CAMPING RESERVATIONS can be made only for the Group Camp and Camper Cabins.
For regular campsites, we guarantee you a spot!
Registration for campsites must be completed UPON ARRIVAL using self-registration at the campground entrance or by completing forms and making payments at The Boathouse. *violators will be prosecuted

Shelter #1, Bulldog Shelter (the largest of the three), is at the front entrance to the park
Shelter #2, Bobcat Shelter, is by The Boathouse/beach/boat dock
Shelter #3, Lakeview Shelter, is at the end of the beach parking area.
